GETTING STARTED

To Set Up Intro Voicemail Greeting

  • Dial your number.
  • Press * (star) when you hear the greeting.
  • Enter your 4-digit phone PIN, and then press 1234 and then the # symbol.
  • Select 7 for Administrative Options and follow voice prompts.
  • Choose from the following greeting options:
    • Initial Default Greeting just has your phone number: “You have reached 931.582.8358…”
    • Standard Greeting is personalized with your recorded name: “You have reached John Smith…”
    • Personalized Greeting allows you to provide incoming callers with your own message.

Note: Once your greeting is created, you can enable the default voice prompt to follow. The default voice prompt provides inbound callers with dialing instructions: “To leave a voice message, press 1. Or just wait for the tone. (Beep).” To enable this feature, see Managing Your Account Online (Default Voice Prompt). If you do not enable the default voice prompt, make sure you instruct your callers with the instructions in your personal greeting.

Log In To Your Account

  • Call your One Number.
  • Press * (star) once greeting starts.
  • Enter phone PIN, then press #.

User Options Following Account Login

Press:

1   To Access Voice Messages
7  For Administrative Options

Options following main menu cues:

1   For Your New Messages
2  For Your Saved Messages
*  To Return To The Previous Menu

Then Press:

    • To replay message
      5  For the time/date of message
      7  To delete message
      8  To return call
      9  To save message
      #  To skip message
      *  To return to previous menu

MANAGING YOUR ACCOUNT ONLINE

The fastest way to get your account set up is to click options from the main menu. Changes to your account options are updated in real-time.

System And Program Requirements

Supported Browsers
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 and higher
Netscape Navigator 5.0 and higher
AOL 6.0 and higher

Multimedia-Enabled Computer
A soundcard, Windows Media Player, and speakers are required to listen to voicemail messages online. Please make sure the latest version of Windows Media Player is installed and Windows Media Player is the default player for all media file types.

Default Voice Prompt
Do you want to use the system voice prompts for incoming calls? The system voice prompt provides incoming callers dialing instructions: 'To leave a voice message, press 1. Or just wait for the tone. To send a fax, press 3. Or to have the system attempt to location this person, press 5. (Beep)' This prompt will play after your personal greeting (if you have one). If you decide to disable this prompt, please make sure to provide detailed caller instructions in your personal greeting. To edit your mailbox voice prompt options:

  • Click options on the navigation menu.
  • Select default voice prompt from the Options list.
  • Enable default voice prompt to turn on the default voice prompt. If you do not want to keep the default voice prompt, uncheck the box.
  • Save .

Message Forwarding
Do you to want to forward all of your messages associated with this account to another email? Message forwarding forwards your messages to up to three email accounts (you will also be able to view these messages online through your account). To edit message forwarding address (es):

  • Click options on the main menu.
  • Select message forwarding from the Options list.
  • Enter the email address (es) you would like your messages to be forwarded to, check enable.
  • Save .

Message Playback
Messages can be played back from the oldest to the most recent message or from the most recent to the oldest when checking your messages by phone. To edit the order in which messages are retrieved:

  • Click options on the main menu.
  • Select message playback from the Options list.
  • Select the order in which to play voicemails.
  • Save .

Password
To update your Password for access to your account online:

  • Click options on the main menu.
  • Select password from the Options list.
  • Enter your current password, new password, confirm your new password.
  • Save .

Personal Profile
To update your email, address, and phone number:

  • Click options on the main menu.
  • Select personal profile from the Options list.
  • Modify your profile info.
  • Save .

Phone PIN
To update your Phone PIN for access to your account by phone:

  • Click options on the main menu.
  • Select phone PIN from the Options list.
  • Enter your new PIN, confirm new PIN.
  • Save .

Voicemail File Format
You can select the file compression format that your voicemails are saved as: MP3 or compatible WAV audio format (larger). Non-Windows systems should use MP3. To edit the voicemail file format:

  • Click options on the main menu.
  • Select voicemail file format from the Options list.
  • Select the type of file compression.
  • Save .

Wireless Notification
Send a page to any wireless device when new messages arrive in your inbox. Contact your wireless provider if you do not know your paging email address. To edit your wireless notification setting:

  • Click options on the main menu.
  • Select notification from the Options list.
  • Enter paging email address, check enable to activate.
  • Save .

USING YOUR ACCOUNT BY PHONE

Log In To Your Account

  • Call your One Number.

Access Messages
Listen to all of your email, fax, and voice messages from a phone while away from your computer.

  • Dial your number.
  • Press * (star) when you hear the greeting.
  • Enter your 4-digit phone PIN, then press #.
  • Press 1 for your voice messages, 2 for your email messages or 3 for your fax messages.
  • Follow the voice prompts.

Receive Message Notifications On Your Wireless Device
Receive notifications on your phone, mobile phone, or pager when you receive new messages in your inbox. To edit your settings, see Managing Your Account Online .

USING YOUR ACCOUNT ONLINE

ONE CENTRAL INBOX
Access all your messages from one inbox via the phone or Internet. Log in to your account online to view all messages. Once logged in, click refresh to check for new messages. The screen will refresh with any new messages that have arrived in your inbox.

CONTACTS
Keep an online edition of your contacts. You can log on to your account for access anytime.

Add A New Contact

  • Click contacts on the main menu.
  • Click new contact icon.
  • Enter new contact's information (all fields with a (*) must be completed).
  • Save .

Edit a Contact

  • Click contacts on the main menu.
  • Select the contact to edit.
  • Click edit.
  • Edit the fields that need to be updated.
  • Save .

Delete a Contact
You must be in the 'All Contacts' group to delete a contact.

  • Click contacts on the main menu.
  • Select the contact you want to delete.
  • Click delete.
  • Click ok.

Create a Contact Group

  • Click contacts on the main menu.
  • Click new group icon.
  • Enter the group name and a description.
  • Highlight contacts name and click add.
  • Save when finished.

Edit a Contact Group

  • Click contacts on the main menu.
  • Select the group you want to edit.
  • Edit the group name or description if needed.
  • Highlight contact name(s) and click remove or add.
  • Save when finished.

Delete a Contact Group

  • Click contacts on the main menu.
  • Select the group you want to delete.
  • Click delete.
  • Click ok.

MANAGE YOUR MESSAGES
Organize your account from your inbox. The toolbar, located at the top, is where all of the icons are located to help manage your messages and folders.

Create a Folder

  • Click on the manage folder icon.
  • Select new.
  • Enter new folder name.
  • Click ok to create.

Delete a Folder
You can only delete folders you have created. Default folders cannot be deleted.

  • Click on the manage folder icon.
  • Select the folder you want to delete.
  • Click delete.
  • A deletion confirmation will show the file to be deleted. Click ok to delete the folder.

Move a Message to a Folder

  • Select the item that you want to move in your inbox.
  • Click the move folder icon.
  • Choose the destination folder.
  • Click ok

Save Attachments/Email

  • Click on the subject of the email that contains the file to open the message.
  • Click the save icon.
  • Enter filename and location.
  • Save .

MESSAGE FORWARDING
Send all of your messages (voice, fax and email) to another POP3 (Post Office Protocol 3) email account. This is ideal if you are already using another client and do not want to change. Your messages will go to your account inbox as well as the inbox of the email address you entered in your settings. To edit your settings, see Managing Your Account Online .

VOICEMAIL

Listen to Voicemails Online
New voicemails will be sent to you via email (with an audio file attached of your voicemail).

  • Go to your inbox.
  • Double click on the voicemail's subject line. Another window will pop up and play your voice message.

Forward a Voicemail to Email
Forward voicemails to any email address from the voicemail playback screen.

  • Click forward.
  • Enter in the recipient's email address and optional message.
  • Click send.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

Forgot Your Password

  • Go to the site home page.
  • Click "forgot login info?" below the member login section.
  • Enter in your login ID.
  • Click get new password.

Forgot Your Login ID

  • Go to the site home page.
  • Click the link "forgot login info?" below the member login section.
  • Enter the email address you provided at registration.
  • Click get your ID.

No Sound on Voicemail Playback

  • Make sure you have a soundcard in and soundcard drivers are updated.
  • Check to see that your computer speakers are plugged in.
  • Check to see that your volume is turned up.
  • Make sure your browser and system is supported.

Low Volume on Voicemail Playback
Make sure the volume on your computer is turned up.

No Audio Player

  • Make sure you have a soundcard in and soundcard drivers are updated.
  • Check to see that your computer speakers are plugged in.
  • Check to see that your volume is turned up.
  • Make sure your browser and system is supported.
  • Make sure you have the latest version of Windows Media Player installed.

Make sure Windows Media Player is the default for all media file types.
